Great product

I bought this for my E 39 525 even though it states it does not fit my vehicle on the listing. Although I do not have the power clip in my car to connect to the gear nob for illumination it was a simple 10 minute job. I just removed the console, and the wires from the gear knob were more than long enough to splice into the ashtray light using a small connector box or you could just twist the wires together and use electrical tape if you prefer. It looks and works perfectly and even dims with the rest of the dash when adjusted. I wonder how many sales they may have lost when (with a simple wiring job) would fit many more cars than they have listed.Read full review
