Great Movie with Realistic South Texas Flavor

I liked this movie as it was filmed right here in McAllen, TX where I live. Also, some of the artists are local to the area. For example, Carlos Guzman is an icon in our Latino community. He is a grammy award winner in Tejano music industry and a historian on the evolution of our music. I could have watched this movie for free with ads on Tubi but preferred to contribute to the artists and writer, Humberto Bocanegra, who is also a local artist. I enjoyed watching what really happens to Mexican immigrants searching for a better life in what used to be their country portrayed through this movie. Great movie with realistic South Texas Latino and Tex-Mex culture and flavor blended in to the fictional account.Read full review
