Very enjoyable, and easy to use in the kitchen.

The slices are very large and very soft. Good flavor, too. And sweet!
For me, sugar is an issue, I get too much. I'm not diabetic, but don't want to be! So I tried an experiment. I got a pan of water boiling fiercely, then dumped in a handful of this crystallized ginger. Stirred it while boiling for just a few minutes, and let it dry. It's still sticky and moist, but has the ginger punch and a lot less sugar. I'm sure there is plenty of sugar still in it, but far less.
It's just right, like this! I've left it at room temp, covered, for three days, but it might be safer in the fridge. I'll try both. It also 'grew' in size from absorbing the water, which makes it seem like more!
I definitely approve, either all sugary, or less! Good for cooking and adding to fruit drinks, lemonade, tea, and the like.Read full review...
