A useful gadget after a bit of practice
A good year for apples and lots of them so I decided I needed help. This is a small neat gadget which adheres firmly to the work top. It took a bit of working out as to how best to use the mechanism to stab the apple and I nearly gave up but after some practice I got the knack and it works well. It successfully peels both large and small apples and slices making the job very easy. I found the best way of removing the core was to push it off the spikes with a knife. It wouldn’t just pull off. I bought this to core and peel. However it slices in to one big spiral. Peeler is good but if you want to core only you can’t without having it sliced. I had to purchase a separate corer. Very handy and strong quality can also do potatoes and pears.Read full review...
