Use plumbers putty

When installing the pop up drain, use plumbers putty instead of the rubber gasket provided. I used rubber gasket and leaking was an issue. I over tightened it to stop the leak and had to buy another pop up drain assembly ($70 and the whole faucet was $102), wasn't happy. Installed new one with plumbers putty and sealed great!Read full review
