Let's be honest, this is not a book you're going to read or leave out for the kids to play with, etc. The same illustrations can be found in the regular edition at bookstores. However if you're one of the many people who are into H.P. that much, this is an incredible book (not to mention the Diagon Alley pano). Incredible binding and slipcase packaged in a special outer box, it is a book to just say "I own one" to the other H.P. fans who just want to look and admire. Everyone already loves the book but this is truly the most deluxe edition I've ever come across. I particularly enjoyed the illustrator's style and found his artwork to be a charming addition to the storyline. As for the book itself, It's printed on heavy paper with gilded edges, beautifully bound and includes a slipcase, just what you would expect in a deluxe edition.Read full review...
