Bought this for my mum.

It's not the fastest nor the flashiest phone but it's clear and simple to use; which exactly fits the bill for an older person. The phone's features are modest but functional. Access to the internet - fine. Contacts list, speed dial; it's all there and not as big and 'clunky' as I thought an 'older person' phone would be. It comes in a smart case with room for a couple of bank notes and credit card. The case as the phone, feels like good quality. I've used it a couple of times so I know that the phone call sound is good. So, whilst having all the regular features of smartphone, I think Doro have successful product for the 'senior' person. The phone's software includes a 'demo' mode to get the user started or to refer to later on - great idea!Read full review...

Not enough computer power

It would be a great device if it had sufficient tech specs to smoothly run its OS. But unfortunately, it doesn't. I would opt for the Doro Phone Liberto 820 instead of this model as a better alternative. Additionally, the 820 can run the care app which allows better help and monitoring options.Read full review...

Great phone for OAPs

Phone arrived today very basic layout, fool proof, once set up ideal for anyone who has difficulty learning how to use a smartphone. Loud ringtones, words instead of icons, so is so much more simple for my mum to understand how to make a call which she cant do on a samsung phone.Read full review...

Dont waver buy it

As an oldie I really don't like getting left behind in technology, even though I do, so I thought the Doro 810 might be the ideal introduction to mainstream mobiles especially for the aged...
I was not dissapointed .The instructions are quite easy to follow and if anyone as dim as I can grasp it then anyone can. My only gripes are that although its easy to upload music to ones phone , you cant actually use your own tunes as a ringtone.
Also I cannot find how to upload photo's from a computer to store on the device so you can have your own wallpaper. All in all though its a great phone and if you purchase one you'll not be dissapointed.

Go on, buy one.. Excellent item

As a OAP the simplicity is welcomed, smart phones are smart but if you get lost in the middle of the woods I find it difficult to get out. THE DORO can be read in all issues and provides easy access to mailing, phone calls, and even photos. I would buy another if necessary.
THE PHONE FOR THOSE WHO I CANT USE ONE.

Despite your age, stay in touch , be modern don't get left behind.

This is a brilliant phone and it replaced my previous Doro mobile phone. I bought it because it was a smart phone and more modern by todays standards. The new Liberto is very easy to read, easy to understand, easy to install the necessary information and easy to access the information. I am delighted with the product and do not hesitate to recommend this to any older person who still wants to be part of the modern phone user group.Read full review...

Great start off smart phone for the uninitiated !!!!

I bought this phone, after much teasing from my children about it being aimed at the older generation! But being a technophobe I had until now resisted all smart phone technology. I have found it easy to use and set up,the quick start guide and on screen instructions are easy to follow.Read full review...

Its arrived, the phone you have been searching for

I purchased a smart phone thinking that at 73 I would be ok to use it,but it was to big and I didn't like all the apps and scrolling was a nightmare. So I gave it to my grandson and bought a new old stock normal mobile.Another bad decision.I bought the Doro and have been very happy with it,even the scrolling is better.Writing texts is so simple it seems to know what I want to say before I do.The camera is good but not great and the alarm will only play stock tunes. My biggest gripe is that there is not an option to play tracks randomly,it only plays in alphabetical order.so you get to know whats coming next. Other than that I am very happy with my Doro and I hope there will be another one when I need to update. If you are of a mature age this is the phone for you and even teenages could use it.Buy one you will not be dissapointedRead full review...
