OK but I had to shorten it
I obtained a complete new Bowden cable (short type - 4556337), the correct one for my C Max 2004 TDCi at least, replacing the new Ford plastic clip with this upgraded clip, however this made the total length too long and the grill would not refit and the whole unit was too tight. I shortened the upgraded clip to the length of the Ford clip, and it all fitted correctly. So maybe this upgrade clip is not suitable for some or all C Max models? The instructions exaggerate the amount of extra unused space supposedly available in both the latch mechanism and the end of the Bowden cable. The clip is good quality apart form the length and it may work without modification in other models, but not mine.Read full review...
