I saw the film staring David Niven when I was about 10 years old and was interested to watch the new televison series starring David Tennant. Having watched the series I was interested in the differences and wanted to know how true to the book they were. I expected the book to be heavy going being written so long ago, but found it a very easy read and very interesting. Having a globe at home I followed the journey on it, which has improved by knowledge of geography. As good a read as 20,000 leagues under the sea.Read full review
