Does the job
This is a very basic electric propagator. It does the job but it is very lightweight and flimsy. Also, I was very surprised to discover that it has no thermostat, and not even an on/off light. The only way to adjust the temperature is by using the vents in the very flimsy plastic cover. As I use my propagator indoors, I tend to just switch it on overnight and turn it off in the daytime when the extra heat is not needed, which is rather a nuisance. Although cheap, this propagator is not nearly such good quality as the old one I had before, which I had been using for the last 30 years.Read full review...

Economical 22w (Stewart 38cm heated propagator is only 8w, so even more economical should a smaller propagator be sufficient). Seems to be strongly constructed. The element heats so-so. There is a more expensive model with a thermostat but I assume the quality will still be below what I consider to be average. The major concern is very poor quality materials. The base is no better than passable but the lid and vent are more than a bit 'ropey'. However for £23 I can't complain too much.
