Great product for chicken houses.

I bought this for my chicken house...because I'd had a bad invasion of chicken lice...previously I'd been using good quality wood shavings...but the lice bred in it. I cleaned the house and sprayed it with a product I bought in the pet shop...I also used the recommended powders in their feathers...I put white paper on the floor of my hen house....so that I could see whether the lice had gone. They were still there. After cleaning out the house yet again...I covered the floor and nest boxes with Hemp...and since then I've found it excellent for keeping the house clean...and lice free.:-)Read full review...

I've been using Aubiose bedding for my chickens for years and beyond doubt, the best you can get...why??? - because you can easily manually just take out the soiled stuff and the rest is fine, absorbent, much less stink, easy to handle and not too dusty. Simply the best bedding for poultry of all types.

I use this bedding for both hens and geese. I find that it keeps them clean and dry, all moisture soaking down into it and leaving the top surface dry. It's simply the best bedding that I have used in all the years that I've kept poultry. The pack is rather heavy and bulky now that I'm officially ancient, but I put what I need in a smaller sack when I go to clean them out. Would recommend aubiose to all pet owners with small animals as they are prone to respiratory problems especially if wood shavings are used as bedding as have a high dust content,strong aroma aswell.Aubiose is a very clean absorbent bedding with no strong aroma and creates an all round more healthy environment for my guinea pigs,no dust problems either.Read full review...
