Nice, really handy lens

I'm with others on this: This won't be your BEST lens, but it may be your most used. It's almost as sharp as the 12-50mm Oly/Zuiko 4/3 lens but far, far more packable and compact. It's always with on the camera or in a pocket, because it's so versatile and does a very good job and probably 70% of the photo ops presented. I usually carry it, my super-pancaked $80 9mm wide-angle, and my best lens, the Panasonic 20mm f1.8 pancake. I've the 45mm f2.8 Oly/Zuiko portrait lens on the way; with those I have a very versatile kit that fits easily in a small bag.

Meanwhile, if I just want my camera along In Case, I've got this sweet little compact thing. No regrets at all on this one. Read full review

Good things come in small packages

Soft on edges at wide angle, but better in tele

I bought this lens for use on my DJI Inspire 2 drone. It works well mechanically and in the software of the drone. At wide angle the edges - and inside the edges - are quite soft. At telephoto the sharpness seems better. Not an expensive lens, so overall if you don't need sharpness on the wide angle setting it's fine.Read full review
