Simple but effective

These are easy to use and could save you a fortune in repair bills for a dropped guitar. Simply, fit your guitar strap, push one strap lock over each strap button, twist to lock and you're done! They're made of a tough plastic which should outlast your guitar strap.Read full review

Works but very expensive for what they are

Works easily though you do need to check occasionally to make sure that they haven't 'slackened' themselves. If you have a guitar with normal strap buttons and want to ensure that the button is locked into the strap these are easier to use than going to the trouble of replacing the existing buttons with locking ones. But at the recommended price I'd probably replace the buttons instead of ordering these as it could work out cheaper. These pieces of plastic were much cheaper before they got the 'Dunlop' name stuck on them - they used to cost about £1.50 if I remember correctly!Read full review

Swings and roundabouts...

This is the second time I have bought these products. My first experience was disappointing as they were so flimsy that they would work loose. This occasion they were so stiff that I could only lock them with pliers/grips..
Nevertheless...they will certainly do the job in securing the guitar strap and not work loose, which after all is the function I required, because my flying vee had detached itself from my strap and gone clattering to the floor and bust the nut and tone pot. You will need to find your pliers again if you choose to change your strap though.Read full review

Keep your guitar strapped in.

Not the first I have purchased but do the job well. Easy to fit and take off when required. Simple fix and twist to secure tight. Saves accidental guitar drop from strap when not expecting. Worth the money for this pair.Read full review

Useful item. I have two guitars and bought two sets. One of the items fell apart when I was fitting it, otherwise I would give it 5 stars. It's still useable and just about does the job however so I didn't need to get a replacement. But I wonder how long they will last.Read full review
