Not up to the job
It was not at all obvious from the photo or the description that this is not a closed tray. It is wide open at the front and the sides slope from about 3cm depth at the back to 0 at the front. So it does not "contain" any leaking liquid, it just leaks it all out from the front. Also almost all appliances for which it might be useful (if you don't mind water all over the floor) are 600mm wide, as is this tray, so it is actually too narrow to comfortably fit an appliance. Finally, it is flimsy, gives no confidence about durability and is ridiculously over-priced for what it is at nearly £16. HQ drip tray
The idea is very good as you can easily miss a small leak from a fridge or washing machine. The product is made of a very thin clear plastic and therefore quite flimsy. Mine arrived bent as many must and would have been more protected if it were packaged in a box. It was not expensive in comparison to some other makes but the quality is poor.
