Model Builder

This is actually the second kit I'm about to build. As a armature builder, I made many mistake putting the kit together. The kit is not to bad to put together. It was more with dealing with paint and glue. The only problem I can see for someone not familiar with model kit building is the instructions, However growing and seeing the show, so often made easier for me where I really didn't need them. I painted the parts before gluing and it made a mess of the outer haul. This moebuis kit come as close to the real ship. Armature builders checkout the pros on YouTube for the tricks and how to add the special effects.Read full review

Realatively accurate, buy it cheap.

Not a bad little kit, realatively accurate, but in many instances over priced at standard MSRP. Considering that these kits are mass produced at a very cheap price, I would suggest waiting until you find one at a good price. I never pay for the over priced kits, they will sit on the shelves and depreciate since they are niche kits.Read full review

Fun kit with full interior, and one neat little spacecraft

If you want to tackle a challenging model kit AND you're a fan of this classic sci-fi TV series...even if was a bit cheesy after the first season, then this will be one neat little model to build. As a fan of kits that enable you to build the interior as well, Jupiter 2's space pod is a fun build and an educational one as well, since it's a combination of what the art department at 20th Century/Fox cooked up as well as what was borrowed from NASA's lunar module from the Apollo program. You have to remember that when the Pod made it's debut in the series' third season in '68-'69, the LM hadn't yet landed on the moon. And as to how Jupiter 2 had any room for this little bird to be stuffed in, well, we'll leave that up to Irwin Allen. Pick up this kit and then build the companion Chariot...full interior as well...and they'll keep you busy for a month or two...or three.Read full review

Fantastic plastic !

Fun kit, replicating yesterday’s tomorrows, when science fiction and science fact were sometimes dance partners.
