Natural insecticide
I found this product on eBay, read the reviews and gave it a try. I am not disappointed, there is no damage at all on anything in my garden and everything is growing well without any damage from any bugs! Will use it in future before anything gets the chance to do any damage. You simply mix one teaspoon into a litre of warm water and a dash of washing up liquid, apply with a spray to any affected leaves above and below. It won’t keep so any leftover apply to the soil, the plant takes it up and if insects bit the plant they are killed, but as bees and ladybirds don’t bit the plants they are quite safe! I have been watering the soil with a solution of Neem oil roughly once a month - no aphids or lily beetles to be seen but I do have bees and ladybirds. Perfect.Read full review...

Seems to have done the trick as an insecticide
Bought this to try and tackle a small aphid problem and fungus gnats. After 2/3 uses over about a week or so (also teamed with bottom-watering) I've seen no more aphids or gnats, or atleast only the odd tiny fly.
