High Power, High Bandwidth, High Quality, What's not to like?

This Antenna is ready to go right out of the box. Yes, you could build one yourself very easily, but why?
The cost of the materials will be the same as this ready made solution and you cannot get better quality construction. This thing is solid!

The build quality is excellent, built like a tank. Just screw it to a wall or tie wrap it to a pole, connect your coax and counterpoise and your done. If you like the results and wish to make the installation permeant, simply dollop some silicone sealant over your connections and your done ;)

Handles 250W no problems with very wide bandwidth in the open, various bands available depending on where you route the long wire. My installation had 1:1 SWR on 14.5Mhz and lots of other bands came in at under 1:2.

So, Go on, save yourself the hassles of building your own, this is not cheating as its such simple technology. Its simple convenient and ideal for temporary or portable use.

I cannot fault the antenna itself, so to try and balance the review, the only niggle is you only get one insulator and that is pre attached to the end of the antenna by crimp. To make this a true experimenters antenna a few more insulators thrown in to the kit will allow for routing the wire in tight or unusual places. But for most users with a conventional installation the extra insulators will never be used.

Good performance, versatile, well made and good value for money.

This end fed long wire with 49:1 transformer has a quality feel about it. I particularly like the non-kinking wire as, for now at least, I rig it temporarily for use, then take it down again afterwards. It gives a reasonable SWR match on the HF bands which is then easy to adjust to 1:1 with my Trio AT230 ATU. Performance is perfectly acceptable. In summary it's a pretty good solution to the modern home issues of needing to be being discrete and lacking space. Mighty mouse long wire

I set this antenna up as an inverted Vee with a 23 ft apex. It beats the G5RV half size hands down. I wish someone had advised me to choose a long wire end fed years ago.

Don’t hesitate pure quality LW20

This longwire rocks. Well built and preforms miles better than I expected. The internal ATU had no problems tuning it on 80, 40, 20, 15 and 10.
I’ve got my eyes on the LW40 now.
