Very good piece of kit

I'd never used a photo etch folder before & after a few minutes of use, I found it quite rewarding to what could be done. The weight is good enough to make it stable on a flat surface but my only criticism is that it could do with anti slip pads on the base. I've now stuck some on & it's great. Well made & comes with plastic folders but it's still a good idea to have a Stanley blade just so that you can get nice sharp edges.
Highly recommended, the price may seam a little high but this is reflected in the build & material quality. Buy it you won't be disappointed.Read full review...

P.E Tool

It seems most model kits now have some metal photo etched parts in the box now so getting the right tool for the job is essential. I kept putting it off buying one using long nosed pliers or steel rulers or anything else I could think would bend the metal, but in the end I had to buy this item. Just the job

Tested this out on a cheap old photo etched extra part I found in a shop.
Clamps the part vary well along the fold line, there are several plastic tools included not shown in the add photo. Nice pice of kit.Read full review...

Well made bending tool

Well made and nicely finished bending platform
The bending guide can be reversed to give a long straight edge which is handy for things such as track guard edges
The four bending blades are made from plastic rather than metal - durability of the sharp edges compared to metal versions will only become apparent over time
