Fly tying restart
Just restarted trout fishing again and that means tying fly’s again. But a forty year lay-off has not been too good for the art, memory needed a boost I was struggling with dubbing then I saw a video, bingo, I needed some wax. Very small in size all round in both thickness and circumference
Wax just arrived and i was shocked at small size of it as thought i was receiving 3 of them for the price paid .Mind u i bought a wax many yrs ago in Scotland and still going strong although about size now of this one wax which arrived ..was so much larger in circumference and thickness when i bought it ..
How time changes not for the best so often is the case .. and for me this wax probs shall be good for the job intended but again very small in both thickness and circumference ..i was shocked what arrived but just keep this which is a single piece of wax not the three in the pic ..May change his pic now into one piece of wax ? lol Read full review...

Although not the most unique wax in terms of tackiness, it is very useful on the bench, especially for light colored threads. I found out the hard way that your hands need to be pretty warm when using, or have a light over the vise to help heat things up in winter. One block will last most a lifetime, take the time to break it up like Davie Mcphail and you’re pretty much ready to tye. Hand warmers help if your tying space is cold ;)Read full review...
