Good fit for both the M42 lenses and in the camera. Unfortunately, most of my M42 lenses are automatic and the adaptor doesn't catch the pin - meaning I am only able to use them wide open. Looks simple but solves an irritating problem at a great price.
There are times when the original Pentax inserted M42 to K adapter is not suitable for use: in my case attaching an M42 BPM bellows to a K30. The shape of the K30 and the position of BPM parts makes it a pain in the neck to fit them together and dismantle afterwards. Using this adapter halves the assembly/dismantling time. Don't forget to note the area of the adapter which engages the camera body contacts as this has to be stripped of paint. This gives the necessary contact to allow the body to function correctly. NO INFINITY
I have now tried this adapter with three of my m42 lenses on my Fuji XE2 and none of them achieve anything like infinity focus. Do not buy if you intend to use for landscapes, though at a push could be used for portraiture.
