Good build quality , shame about the need for stick-on feet

I used this to provide an adjustable output from an amplifier with "pre-out" to a power amplifier, so that the sound level from the power amplifier matches that from the main amplifier.

It would have been nice if the two switches were just "on/off" so that I could have used the "B" output to feed my subwoofer. I can't think of a hi-fi usage which requires 2 RCA sources to be combined into one input - most amplifiers have more than enough RCA input sockets.

Build quality is good, with the plastic circuit board "frame" neatly trimmed and the switches and rotary control operate smmothly. The supplied stick-on ruber feet are to prevent the cap-head allen screws underneath scratching a surface, but have to be located inboard in a rather slapdash way. Perhaps a mk2 version will have the screws futher inboard with feet that have recesses to fit over them.

Surprisingly good

I use it to split signal to headphones and active speakers. Works well, with no signal interferance or similar. The volume knob works Ok. It hasmlong run but still Ok. It is also very simple to use.r>Very good value.Read full review...

Perfect with a minor quibble

It is so simple and affordable. It does exactly what I wanted - the ability to switch between two components effortlessly. My only complaint, a minor one, is that it is totally unattractive and just loos (as pictured) as a covered circuit board. it would have been nice to have it housed in wood. I'd even pay a little more for that just to have some extra cosmetic appearance.Read full review...

Does Its thing very well

I use this s to send the signal from my dedicated separate phono stage amp to split to a headphone amp and to a stereo receiver which is part of another system setup. It mounts easily out of the way and you can switch with a push of a button. It was very easy to setup in my system. I would recommend this item. Although it weights very little the built feels sturdy.Read full review...

A great little gem

So far it meets all my expectations. I’m using it between two turntables to be able to quickly evaluate them and cartridges against each other as I only have one phono input and didn’t like hooking up and unhooking the RCA cables. I thought I might get some hum but it’s not the case so far. I recommend. Read full review...
