Cheap product at a knockdown price.

Very thin - doesn't feel either fully weatherproof nor UV stable.
Since it is from a reputable brand I assume that it IS UV stable, because they say so..... but it is like a thin, close weave, matt finish cloth; not the shiny nylon type material I was expecting.

At the price (less than £6) I can't claim it's bad value - so it is good value and below average quality.

The straps on it a pretty standard but the overall size seemed a little smaller than other covers.... so it hasn't gone on the caravan as neatly as I would have liked. Barely covering the hitch + brake + cables simultaneously.

Usless item, not fit for purpose.

Might as well wrap your hitch in tissue paper, its made of a Tyvek type material, the stuff they make disposable overalls from, a small gust of rainy wind and will rip like wet kitchen towel. I thought Maypole was a quality brand but will stay clear from now on.Read full review...

Not the quality I was expecting

Very thin material - I doubted is fully weatherproof or UV resistant.

Since it is from a reputable brand you would expect better quality, but it is like a thin, matt finish cloth; not the waterproof type of material I was expecting.

It is good value for money but below average quality.

Get what you pay for. It’s made of a very paper like material. Like the stuff bed curtains in a&e are made of. Worth paying more for a better quality

Total rubbish.

the product is made of paper. Hence within 12 hours it tore in the first breeze. A total waste of 5 quid.
It turned up very prompt though. I wish it didnt.

Not a long term solution.

Material is lightweight, no doubt breathable but highly unlikely waterproof. Will need replacing for when the bad weather returns. The price really says it all, not the bargain I hoped for.

Maypole Hitch Cover

If you want a hitch cover that protects the hitch from rain and keep the electric cables and sockets dry then don't purchase this. The item is described as being water resistant so I thought that it would keep the hitch dry. It doesn't. I only paid £5.85 for it so I suppose you get what you pay for. I decided that I would have to buy a more expensive one which I did and it is waterproof so I wasted my money on the Maypole cover.Read full review...

To Small

I'm sure it will do what it says on the box, but it is way to short. For me, it puts a question mark on Maypole products. To sum up the old adage of 'you get what you pay for' shows up very well with this particular product.Read full review...
