Lastolite EZbox Switch (for amateur use.)

I like the Lastolite EZbox soft boxes as they always give nice looking, even light and they are particularly easy to mount on my Elinchrom strobes. I have found in practice that some soft box brands which are supposed to fit Elinchrom do not fit perfectly & can be a quite awkward to mount. With Lastoltes EZboxes, you just mount the metal Elinchrom adaptor plate in the strobe first, and then Lastolite's square plastic fitting (on the back of the soft box) just slides straight on and then sits securely. (if you are going to rotate the soft box orientation, you will need the M4 securing screw.)

I have the switch set up in strip box mode and that was super easy to do. if I want to expand to the full 89cm square, I just open the internal zips and fit the longer pair of stiffening poles to make the soft box rigid. Lastolite soft boxes are relatively expensive so I bought mine either ex-demo from eBay shops or second hand.Read full review...
