Expensive , does the job and safe way to split wood
Unfortunately not been able to compare quality and weight with cheaper versions. Bought off a Web review as best manual spitter.
Quality tool and hopefully weight will last many years.
Used for first batch, with 4lb lump hammer. Quick and easy to use, did find some logs harder but that is down to tree typeRead full review...

Cracking!
This is a cracking bit of kit but a bit pricey. Bought for my husband who forced too large a piece of wood in and broke the upper ring on first try - all his fault though!
