No more bulky panniers in the tent
These panniers made such a difference to my recent camping trip. As the panniers are side opening, I have been used to everything falling out if they are opened whilst still on the bike. So I usually have to remove them and put them in my tent, which requires a larger tent to be used... With these liners I was easily able to remove them and leave the panniers on the bike. The liners are lighter and take up much less room. Whilst they do not fit exactly to the shape of the pannier, it is possible to stuff a few more pairs of socks etc in the small gaps left once the liners are in the pannier and make good use of all the pannier space. The expandable section is useful as it gives a little more room but I found that I had to put the empty liner into the pannier first, before filling them, as it was tricky to negotiate a full liner into place past the bar that is pulled up to expand the panniers. On reflection, this may be a 'female' thing as I probably overfilled them with items of clothing or toiletries that had to be packed 'just in case'. It was therefore not possible to zip down the expansion section in a bid to compact my clothing a bit more. But not a major issue.Read full review...
