Heavier than usual

This is the sort of stuff I have always wanted, that doesn't tear when pulled, is thick enough for metal pegs to not pull through when you walk on it, and most importantly of all for me, actually looks like it will protect my tatties crop in the ground from winter frosts. Admittedly, Enviromesh is very durable, but this stuff is the most heavy duty horticultural fleece I've ever seen, and for the price it cannot be beaten. It may not let moisture through the same - I'd say the jury's still out on that, we've not had heavy enough rain to be sure - but it certainly ticks all the other boxes. Will rosebay willowherb rhizomes grow through ? 🙄 Maybe...with difficulty.🤗

Plastic, and not fantastic.

Used this to cover the paths on an allotment to avoid spending more time weeding the paths than growing the veg. It's working fairly well so far (with a layer of wood chips on top), after a year or so, but it is not as thick as I expected, and frays into its component ribbons easily. Before this purchase I was given some that has a tighter, heavier weave, and I thought this was the same stuff, but it's much lighter.

I guess now with environmental concerns being high on the agenda, I'd probably not buy plastics for this purpose again...I'm replacing the worn out plastic fencing (builder's netting stuff) with chicken wire.Read full review...

Saves so much hard work 'weeding'

Great fabric

I use the fabric between my rows of crops to prevent weeds and cut water loss. In the past the heaviest weight fabric I could get was 70gms which only lasted about 2 years. This 120gm material looks as though it should last for 3-4 years. Brilliant!Read full review...
