Nice piece of kit, but...

Nice build quality, tested on my Denon Avr2808 when received, sound was crisp and loud, you need to push some watts to get something, next day fitted in the car on front doors(w203 Merc).. Results.. Awfully tiny sound, running on my double din aftermarket Kenwood H.U. .. I won't say they're bad, even if the car oem speackers sound better on this setup, just keep in mind that you do need an amplifier to run these.. Great replacement speakers

Fitted on my 2011 touran after an original speaker blew. I had to trim the adapters down a little to get them to fit and it does require some DIY confidence to replace speakers since you need to drill some holes.

Sound quality is great, since it has a decent inbuilt tweeter already, it means there's a bit more middle than the standard vw units. I wish I'd used these when I added speakers to the back doors now, the ones I put at the back were slightly cheaper and a lot inferior. Read full review...

Great British made Speakers, Use with an amp but perfect for standard oem replacements

Great British made speakers. They have multiple fixing holes so can mount in multiple scenarios. very flexible in fitting between lots of cars. I have bought 5 pairs of these for various cars and coupled with various headunits and been pleased with the overall sound in every aspect.

Dont expect a lot of bass out of them (they arent a sub) from standard or aftermarket headunits though - they need to be amplified in order to get the best experience (as does any car speaker really) headunits rarely put out more than 50w rms into 4ohms and these speakers are rated nominal of about 80w so a headunit will underdrive them and leave you disappointed.Read full review...

Nice upgrade for my MR2

Fitted these in my MR2 turbo. Didn't need spacers but had to trim the door card. Well rounded sound but they seem to break up a little at high volumes. Wont be an issue, too loud. Pleased with them so far, would buy Vibe speakers again, excellent build quality.

I found these to be a waste of money I got these today fitted them and found that my standard door speakers are better than them I would send them back but I got glue on them so I've put them in the loft now as I've put my standard speakers back in I couldn't turn the radio up without them distorting very poor Read full review...
