The medicine tablet cutter is fantastic. It will cut any size and shape tablets. We had the same one for years. Due for wear and tear the place where it holds to open and close, the clips broke off cutting a large pill. But we still could cut. The blade never gets dull. After us for so many years the blade still cuts. Now that we order the new one, its back to normal. I have several pills that I need to cut every time taken. Pretty good but you have to work on it.

All I was looking to do was to find a splitter that would cut a round pill in half. After many miss cuts I finally figured out that you have to hold the pill very firmly against the back stop ( I used a small screw driver) as you bring the knife down on the pill it works as I wanted. Ezy-cut works for small pills but not large ones. Unit is made of thin plastic so when you use it on a large pill, the plastic bends and you get an uneven cut.
