Well made
Had an exhaust lambda sensor thread that had been damaged by old sensor when removed. Talking to mechanic, he said, they all do that.
I had bought and tried a Sealey Oxygen Port Thread Chaser M18 x 1.5, but it wouldn't start on the thread, because it was so full of swarf from the thread of the previous sensor.
Ordered this item, and used the tapered tap first, which could a) go further into the hole to get the alignment right, and b) reach in far enough to get more thread turns started when it started to bite on cutting.
After a couple of times in and out to clear out with the taper tap first, then used the bottoming tap/ 2nd tap to clear out the rest of the swarf.
Easy job, took 1/2 hour, and next time I need to to a lambda sensor, these taps will be the first thing I use once the old sensor is removed.
These taps cost £10, the same price as the Sealey port chaser. I know which one I'll buy if I have a different size to do.Read full review...

Just what I needed to retap a damaged lambda sensor thread in the cat , take your time lightly oil the tap , to withdraw the swarf working the thread abit at a time , and make sure it's square !!
