Worthy scaner

About the machine, just a nice scaner with great features at this price, dynamic range just normal compare to my DSLR D7000 under raw file, some problems with the color noise compare to FUJI SP3000 (which much more expensive), but acceptable.
About the software, dont know why still can not access to Silverfast's register, but funtional good and no prob with accessing the website.

Very slow but excellent value.

Needed to replace obsolete SCSI scanners. This had the specs and got good reviews elsewhere. Requires SilverFast software so make sure any used one comes with it. Scanning is very slow (no faster than my 10+ years old ones) but high quality. I just wish the backlight had adjustable brightness.Read full review...

Fantastic slide scanner!

It's amazing! Pulls so much detail and color from 40-year old Kodachrome slides. The SilverFast software needs very little tweaking to get great pics, though it does take a lot of computing time; as much as 15 minutes for a full-res slide. The outstanding results are worth it!
