In 2023 probably the best way into iPhone for anyone on a budget.

The iPhone 7 may be a little out of date and actually little more advanced technology than the 1st generation iPhone SE but it is a step up, being noticeably faster and the form factor being exactly the same as the current 3rd generation iPhone SE is really nice.
