Penn Plax Cascade 100
I bought the Penn Plax Cascade 100 in hopes that it would clear my cloudy 10 Gallon Tank. I originally had a smaller filter that only produced 45 Gallons Per Hour and it alone was not clearing my tank up. When the Penn Plax Cascade 100 arrived in the mail I immediately set it up in my tank and within the hour of it running my tank was already clearing up nicely. Now my tank is crystal clear all the time and I am a Happy Camper. Will continue to Buy Penn Plax Power Filters in the future when needed. I personally have both the Penn Plax Cascade 100 and the 45 Gallon Per Hour Filter hooked up to my tank just for added Filtration and combined it is impossible for my tank not to stay clear. 100 Gallons Per Hour + 45 Gallons Per Hour = 145 Gallons Per Hour Total !! If you're going to get serious about fish aquariums get a serious filter
This thing needs to be cleaned every other day it's only for small fish aquariums and quite frankly I don't know anyone who has fish aquariums anymore because there's so much work to keep clean pretty to look at but too much to keep clean and who could stand the sound of those air pumps that they all claim or silent until you plug them in and they vibrate against everything they touch. Get yourself a virtual fish aquarium for your TV then you have a 50 inch aquarium and watch the fish and never have to clean it.Read full review...

Great little filter
Found and bought this filter on the premise of wintering over a school of pond fish in a small tank-didn't know if it would work. Well , I'm pleased to say it works-so well in fact that I haven't needed to unpack and install the second filter( of the same type) to act as a back-up. If you are looking for economy based filters that do if fact work as intended and advertised-then order and install these.....
They are worth every penny spent(or not spent) .
