Very useful piece of kit for home projects
We'd had one of these workmates for many years already, but needed another one for a bigger project. They are versatile and very useful for home projects. Simple, well made, very quick and easy to do the initial assembly, very easy to operate and adjust. They provide a variety of options to secure your workpiece to them, however you will most probably need additional clamps, to ensure you can secure a wider variety of sizes. Note that this workmate is suitable for working with small to medium-size parts - if you have larger parts, you may need another workmate (still saves space in storage, as compared to a large workbench), or if you are working with small items, you may need appropriate vice and smaller clamps. For just over £40 this is incredible value, it's lighter than my old blue one and much easier to user service parts or replace anything that breaks.
