a good pir activated light for the money. Ideal for hallways, top of the stairs etc.

Good but not sensitive enough 3 out of 5 stars
This replaced a different unit on my stair landing which lasted about 2 years. The replacement was cheaper but was at the time the best I could find.
At times the motion sensor does not detect movement which I would say would be 1 out of 10 times. The light produced is adequate to illuminate the stair landing.

Looks good
This light looks more stylish in reality than the photos show. It a smooth shiny plastic appearance, the actual PIR sensor is probably bigger than it neeeds to be, but not unsightly. The extra time delay of 90 seconds is the reason I wanted this one and that is more than long enough for my purpose. The light is brighter than typical night lights
The only negative is the slight delay in operation from walking in front of the light and the light illuminating. Its not instant, probably about a second, long enough for me to have walked past it.

Motion sensor
Works ok, cannot say value or quality not long enough in use. The ON period setting period after motion is detected max setting is only 90secs, this is too short at night and really means that the main household light would be switched on instead, which rather defeats the use. The consumption of this LED light unit is so small that it could be 5mins max and would not cost much money to run at all.

Looks like on the photos, is quite light but build quality is decent. The problem is it has a delay of 2-3 seconds before it turns on and instructions mention up to 8m of activation range but it just doesn't do that. I walk in front of it and...
