The Fender Plugs are very comfortable in the ear.

These earplugs really work!
While loud music is definitely a lot quieter, it's not muffled like with foam earplugs and you can still hear the clarity of the music but without suffering hearing damage. I can confirm that there was no ringing in my ears after using these at concerts and in nightclubs.

I've been looking for a replacement for the 3M earplugs I used to use, now sadly unavailable. Have been disappointed by some of the earplugs I have tried, due to discomfort and after-effects on my hearing. These fender plugs are great, very comfortable and a good fit. If it fits your ears it may be OK. Unfortunately I couldn't get a good seal, so it wasn't effective at all. 3M plugs fit me better and cost less.
