For an optical tremolo, this pedal is an excellent deal. I paid $20.85 with free shipping. Here's what I had to do. I opened up the pedal (I had to pull the guts out to get there, but once it is done, the pedal is good to go) and cranked the trim pots for volume and waveform. It really sounds hypnotic after this. Great affordable tremolo.

Nice vintage Fendery sounding tremolo effect, well built and works fine in front of an amp or through the effects loop. Also it has no volume drop when engaged, it even gives a small boost when used.
