slowly disappointing
I've bought loads of these before and they all work fine for me. i bought one as a little additional present for the Father in Law, as he's a big coffee drinker, but the stem must have been bent out of shape as it didn't revolve correctly. Feeling bad that i bought him a duff frother, i bought another one... which was exactly the same. I'm making the assumption here that it gets bent out of shape in transit, as the ones from ikea (in store) are fine. Not buying online again. Cheap price, poor product quality.
The main problem with this item is that the on/off switch does not work properly. In order to make the whisk operate I have to move the switch half way and hold it there otherwise it will not work at all. Also, the whisk is not aligned properly with the motor and so it shakes when it spins which makes it uncomfortable to use and reduces the spinning speed due to it's excessive wobble. Excellent frother and mixer
The whisk works very well and really mixes all the ingredients completely. It's also very easy to clean and dry. I just run it under a hot tap, switch on for a few seconds after rinse and it dries completely.

It's advertised as IKEA. I already have one which i bought from IKEA, which is similar but has some differences to this one. This makes me question if this is an IKEA whisk or a copy
