Every classic vehicle needs one
The Accumate battery charger is very simple to use - just set the voltage, connect it to the battery and the 240 volt supply, and leave connected indefinitely. No need to set a charging mode or to reset it after disconnection such as a power outage. It is able to recover severely discharged batteries that other chargers cannot. Scope for improvement
I have been using an Accumate for eight or nine years, and the basic product is excellent. However, the new one I've just bought has a revised in-line connection which is very poorly executed: it's impossible to push home completely, and equally impossible to disconnect. Provided you are happy to use the crocodile connectors and leave the in-line connector fixed, there's no problem, but I wanted, and cannot, use the permanently connected arrangement.Read full review...

Simple to use
Used various trickle chargers over the years but these are more reliable and solid build than similar priced products. Easy to use with permanent battery connection and I leave it hooked till I need the bike meaning battery is fully charged important on a big v twin on a cold morning. Useful that it does 3 types of battery in both 12 & 6 volt and has crocodile clips as well as permanent lead.
