For the price unbeatable
This set of drills is just about unbeatable at the price, and on that basis alone I would recommend them. If you want top quality, which will cost a lot more, then these maybe are not for you. The smallest five in my set were sharpened off centre and needed re-grinding, but having done that they are now fine for my purpose, which is model making.Read full review...

Seventeen is the new twenty
Packed received within regular timeframe with shipping and handling. Well packed, factory sealed, can confirm that isn't tempered on the road, but think that i was found unsatisfactory is that in fact there is seventeen (17) oieces inside, not twenty (20) as advertised. Some of the drills aren't really straight, but i would say it isn't something problematic. Not sure if such cheap sets will do the job for anyone using them on something stiffer than plastic.Read full review...

Nice drill set
A nicely packaged set of drills. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because the sliding cover, which allows you to select and remove the drill you want without all the others falling out, is extremely stiff and I nearly broke it before I figured out how it was supposed to work. But other than that, great.Read full review...

Handy mini drill.
I bought this mini drill to assist in my hobby of repairing and restoring old items of costume jewellery, which quite often involves tiny parts which have to be refashioned and fixed into place. This drill allows me to redrill tiny holes at a snails pace to preserve the original body of the piece, which would be easily damaged by a motorised drill that does not turn slowly enough. The drill bits really are micro but fit into the tiny chuck of the micro drill, something that is not possible with a motorised drill, and with a little practice the archimedes screw rotor works perfectly. At first it may seem very fiddly but a little practice and you will find it easy to use one handed. I have reamed out real pearls to make the holes slightly larger by gradually using a larger and then the next size larger drill bit, working my way up until I have acheived the opening I needed, tedious but worth the effort. The only drawback I have found so far is that the plastic box housing the drill bits does not have a smooth sliding action and the drill bits can slide down into the hole intended to access them, jamming the slider, I take the lid right off while holding the case over a box to catch any that may fall out. I also use two pairs of pliers to open and close the chuck when changing bits, to ensure that the bit is held securely but once in place it works well.
So patience is the password, maybe even a drop of thin oil to ensure the screw runs smoothly as with all tools but a very handy addition to my mini tools box.Read full review...

Good drills but be careful when opening box.
Drills nice and sharp but box poor quality - I scattered all 20 tiny drills on the floor trying to slide the badly-fitting lid open. Don't let this put you off though, as the drills are incredibly good value.Read full review...

Good value drills awkward box.
The drills work well in the soft materials I use plastic and Aluminium. The box is a bit of a problem as there is no instruction or obvious way to open it. I found that putting a 3 mm drill shank into the hole in the block that's part of the lid and lifting popped it open, you do however have to make sure the drill box is on a firm surface and you hold it down.If you don't the drills will be lost in space when the lid pops open. You cannot slide the lid off.Read full review...

Very delicate
Used these drills before for drilling through Amber, its worth noting that they are delicate and can break easily, i use an archimedes hand drill for the smaller size as a rotary drill will break them (the larger drill bits should be ok).Read full review...

Cheap and not cheerful
I bought these drill bits in good faith - two packs at that. Upon trying to use the HSS 0.3 to 0.6mm sizes I found they did more harm than good, they wouldn’t drill through the very thin plastic I usually drill through, they even struggled to reopen previously drilled holes. I did manage to drill two holes but it took so so long to even get that, the drill bits over flexed and then bent almost instantaneously. I’m always careful and can handle what I do so I wasn’t at fault. Very very disappointing. I bought them to replace similar and older very reliable versions which had been broken or lost though time.
Not worth the money and not worth the timeRead full review...

Perfect hobby accessory.
Very good drill set. Perfect for the hobbyist! Used a 0.75mm to drill hole for antenna in a F1 racing car in 1/20 scale. Very happy.

Good drill bit set, would benefit from better packaging.
The packaging could be better: some of the drill bits will not dispense out of the hole.
This problem could be alleviated by a redesign.
Overall though, this seems like a good drill bit set.Read full review...
