ORICO 2.5" USB3.0 Externall HD Case
Very easy to use, just slip 2.5" HD of your choice into the internal connector, replace cover plug in the lead supplied to drive case and your computer and hey presto away you go, just as simple as that.
I fully formatted a 1TB used HD that came from my laptop and at the end the case and drive were quite hot, but doesn't seem to have harmed anything, loaded on some films and they ran ok, if you plan to run HD for any long length of time may be a good idea to cool it somehow, when I think about it when when the HD was in my laptop (changed it out for a SSD drive) the laptop has it's own fan to keep it cool and it also sat on a another triple fan cooling pad I bought to make sure it kept things cool.
If I had fitted a SSD drive into it instead then I don't think the unit would have got very hot at all.

I have been through MANY enclosures, each has their own good and bad "features", but ORICO produces the absolute best. The casing is quite solid but not heavy. Fast transfer enclosure...
Very cheap enclosures out there are but I decided to spend a few pounds more and hopefully get one that was better quality with a better transfer speed.
This enclosure tick those boxes. However, there is a very slight movement of the hard drive within the enclosure. I feel that a bit of shock absorption could have been added to prevent this. A small square of thin foam should even do the trick. Read full review...

Cost effective solution for redundant tech
Why risk insecure disposal when you can re-use? A perfect choice to reclaim a redundant hard drive as a backup. Minimal installation was required as my SSD slotted straight in, with hardware working straight away.
