Insanely bright indicators
INSANELY bright indicator bulbs. Like, ridiculous. I don't know what I was expecting, it said 25W each! (although every different listing for these seems to have different and conflicting specs, it's pretty random). I was still surprised though, especially so compared to the somewhat disappointing ones I bought for the rears which were meh. These are embarrassingly bright, serious. Literally painful to look at. I coded the voltage down to 9.2v and they are still insane. Not sure it made a huge difference to be honest, just took the edge off.
I wouldn't use these for the rear, personally, as the lens on the end makes the centre especially bright. It's surely a good thing to be extra visible, but actually blinding the following traffic is probably not the best idea. They make a similar one without the projector bub, which would be perfect for even spread in a reflector housing but unfortunately only in 382 base, not with offset pins 581.Read full review...
