Great Monitor. . .

Good quality product and very easy to set up and use. Excellent value for money, cheaper than other retailers, but same perfect product. Also comes with a chart that you can fill in with your readings. Read full review...

Not a good monitor at all

The unit seems to be a robust build and everything seems to work as any home blood pressure measuring device would, but the main problem is the inconsistent readings. I have new batteries, I take three readings at a time with 2 - 3 minuets between readings. The cuff remains in place, I remain in place, I do not talk or move, my feet are on the floor and the cuff is level with my heart. but the final readings differ considerably. For example, during the first reading the cuff will pressure up to 200ish before deflating, the second reading it pressures up to 160 then deflates and the third pressures to 148 etc. This gives wildly different blood pressure results which obviously can't be relied on, i.e.. 158 / 60 : 117 / 70 ; 138 / 65 - therefore renders the whole unit useless.Read full review...

very good company and very useful hand held blood pressure.would use again.

very good quality and good for blood pressure monitor at home. requires a couple just to get used to better simple for elderly useage. would have had a preferred simpler usage for putting together and using the notified blood pressure requirements results notified. originally thought this was part of "omron" type but was intended as "sinocare" type that was fine. Used by the NHS - great little machines!

This little gadget is great for monitoring your blood pressure at home or on the move as its completely portable. It takes 4 x AA batteries or can be plugged into a mains power outlet if you are able to get a cable? I am an NHS worker who uses this brand of machine within my job role, so can vouch for the quality. It comes with one regular size cuff, other sizes can be bought separately, Read full review...

Omron M2 as necessary as a thermometer at home

I suffer from too low blood pressure. Something doctors seems to overlook as a problem since most cardiovascular problems stems from high blood pressure.
In my case I had to persuade my doctor to actually take my BP! Had I had this monitor earlier I might have saved a lot of head ache and vertigo!
As BP related problems keeps getting more common, I would recommend this monitor to everyone. Very practical to get a series of readings during a day since a singe test at the MD may catch you at a non representative level.
The Omron M2 is very easy to use and understand. Mine also came with a chart to fill in my BP values for trend analysis.
Just plug in four AA batteries, strap on the collar on your upper arm (arrow pointing towards the vein on the inside of the elbow), and push "START". It now inflates and deflates while getting SYStolic and DIAstolic readings, as well as your pulse rate. Takes perhaps twenty seconds. Voila!

Tried and Trusted

My friend has diabetes , and has used this unit for many years.

I recently needed to have a monitor at home , and he recommended this model.

When used correctly , sitting properly and relaxing - it offers stable , accurate readings , and is easy to use.

Came complete with batteries , and full instructions.

It works, how well calibrated it is, is the worry

It has fairly clear instructions and is reasonably easy to use.
The voice feature is good.
It does seem to error a few times whether that is because the arm band which is massive and would fit Arnold Schwarzenegger easily is not correctly placed I don’t know.
If you try again it usually works, how accurate the readings are I have no idea.

Very good monitor made by a leading company.

This monitor is recommended by my practice nurse. It is easy to use and pumps the cuff up until your fingers tingle as do the hospital ones. Omron have been around for years and make products to a high specification and this monitor is no exception. Buy with complete confidence.Read full review...

An excellent quality product that does everything I need it to do. Very pleased with the purchase and would highly recommend OMRON M2 to anyone requiring this type of medical equipment.
