Pretty darn good.

It works okay.

Sound quality is pretty good, especially considering it's bluetooth.

While not an audiophile, I spend a fair bit on audio gear, which includes the utopia, chord hugo 2, hd800, t1, rme adi-2 dac, schiit jot, r3, r6, n5ii, ifi ican pro, campfire audio cascade, nighthawk, nightowl, tr80/250, meze 99 classic, mojo/poly, kse1200, and the sony wh-1000xm2.

While the wi-1000x doesn't really come close to a lot of other audio gear in my collection, it really is pretty good for what it is.

Tends to shift and be uneven though. Dunno why. Minor weight difference maybe, or maybe it's my neck and shoulders that are funky. Not sure, but my older lg neckband gets lopsided on the same side.

Noise cancellation is okay. Like most active noise cancellation units, it's really the base that gets cancelled, so what little sound that does make it through tends to be the leftover higher frequencies of the background noise.Read full review

It’s a great travel option!

We also own the MDR-1000 over the ear version and love them both. But this one has very particular advantages like, does not mess up your hair or get your ears hot from use and it takes up a lot less space in your bag, plus weighs less.
