Excellent chainsaw sharpening with these files

I used one of my new files to sharpen the chain on an 18" Ryobi PCN4545 with .35 and .05 pitch. I was particularly impressed by the hardness of the file and the effective bite, as I ran the file through each tooth on the chain. Some files seem to blunt very quickly but these files appear to remain effective.

The sharpened chain gave the saw a 'new feel' and I was able to fell a substantial tree of 50-60', with ease. The chain remained sharp, as I turned the lengthy and heavy trunk into firewood. I would thoroughly recommend these files.Read full review...

Poor quality

Bought 3 of these files, and after 10 minutes of trying to sharpen just one of the teeth on my chainsaw blade, I gave up. Seriously cheap rubbish, with very little effect on chainsaw teeth. Don't waste your money.Read full review...

Long 4mm files

For some reason buying round files with their diameter listed not just the lenght is very difficult until I eventually found chainsaw files. I don't need them for chainsaws but needed 4mm long round files to elongate 4mm holes. Needle files are too fine and very short. I just popped a handel on and they work great. Read full review...
