A1 replacement!

Perfect fit for my 2013 triumph scrambler. Love the extra terminals which mean you don’t end up the terminals stacked high when fitting accessories. Came pretty well charged to allow easy firing up from scratch and has better capacity than the oem one fitted to the bike which is useful as modern triumphs are a bit overzealous on low Voltage levels when starting……Finally its an AGM so no acid topups/filling to mess around with👍🏻Read full review...

Good and bad

The battery has a good power output but there are a couple of problems.
It is slightly oversized which makes it a very tight fit. I checked the manufacturers website to make sure it was the correct one.
Worst of all are the terminals, they are small and very difficult to get tight. The slightest vibration makes them come loose.
Overall I can't recommend this battery.

Very good value and well suited to any vehicle.

These batteries are very well made and last well, my oldest are now around 6 years old . Charges last indefinitely, should you flatten the battery no ill effects appear to occur.

The terminals handy being on either side. Caution should be used when installing as the brass and stainless steel allen cap bolts can be difficult to get right, if you have multiple connectors then replacement 6mm bolts will be needed, care required in bolt length.

Basically everything you need supplied including trays and covers.

Quality battery with flexible terminal layout.

Very flexible with four terminals and bolt on connectors to fit different bike layouts. Even got spacers to fill bigger battery bays. The fact these are gel filled with zero maintenance is a bonus. The only thing I cannot comment on is their life span, only time will tell.Read full review...

Motobatt good quality and perfect fit for a SV650 bike.

Used Motobatt for years now, never let me down despite me not always looking after the battery properly. Used on a few track bikes so not used regularly always starts the bikes no problem. Terminals are a little fiddly, but have never caused an issue. Fitted this one to an Suzuki SV650 '05 and it fitted perfectly. Far higher spec than OEM. Excellent.Read full review...

Great battery

This is not the first Motobatt product I have had, they have always been excellent quality. The cranking get power and fitting versatility are the reason I choose them.

Battery

Excellent product with plenty of power to turn over most engines. Will definitely be purchasing another for my other bikes. 10/10 from me.

superb replacement.

I received the product very quickly. I have had gel batteries before , and knew that they were very good . Much more powerful than the ordinary ones, and can be put any where ,even upside down. The one I have just replaced , lasted six years .I have no hesitation in recommending this product ,as they are robust , powerful , and reliable .Read full review...

Battery

motobatt batteries are good quality items, however this is advertised as a 20 amp hour battery when it is infact a 14.5 amp hour battery. Just like the one its been purchased to replace.
False advertising or an innocent mistake?
As it is identical to the previous one, which gave sterling service, I'm not particularly concerned.

motobatt battery

Had a motobatt 12 BTX on my Ducati 1198 until my regulator went wrong and fried it. Battery was very hot and had started to bulge but it did not split or catch fire. Changed for another make as I needed it to get home. This lasted about a year and was struggling to turn a big twin over from day 1. Upgraded to the 14 btx. This is what it should have had all along. Much more positive starting. If you are thinking of using this on a ducati it does fit but you have to remove the bottom spacer and use the one provided with the battery. Also you need to remove the two rubber cotton reel shaped spacers from the back of the battery box. The battery is the same height and width but is about 25mm deeper. Recommended upgrade.Read full review...

dont buy cheap , buy a battery that does what it says

Motobatt batterys are the business , dont be guided by cheap batterys , there cheap for a reason , its just to get your money , buy the best, look after it and you wont have any regrets .
i was guided by price initialy and they just let me down , bikes that would crank over , but not start unless they where straight off the charger , fitted a moto batt battery , BOOM , problam solved , nothing else , just the battery . The cheep battery hadnt got enough in reserve to supply the ignition .
