Useful bit of kit with reservations
Arrived next day. Most of the kit is fine with the exception of the front valve housing nut. If you need to replace this part of your unit and use this part you may find that the front section of the hot water diverted valve will not sit properly on the on the main section if you have an original baxi unit. The difference in size is minute but being a male/female union it stops short by about 1mm meaning the diverted pin cannot push out far enough to activate the micro switch. Waste of time & money, Yet another example of poor quality replicas.
From the moment of installation the valve spigot to heat exchanger "O" ring leaked and the Diverter Valve (outer end) leaked. Bought on strength of spiel saying Baxi but now sure it's a copy.
Had to remove and seal "O" ring with a Baxi "O" in my spares kit. and sealed Diverter valve with
a stem seal from another repair kit.Although I could have returned the item I would have had to remove it and either put the old valve back with serious leakage or been without heating & hot water for a number of days.The "O" ring removed from the valve was badly distort & scratched. Dont waste your money, Pay the extra and get genuine part!
Saw this online for £30 less than genuine part would cost and thought that it wouldn't make a difference as only a diverter valve, well i was wrong!
Removed old valve and replaced with this and leaked! As not a genuine part leaked from around the diaphragm front plate. Clearly not tested before sale.
I had to re drain boiler,remove the whole valve, strip and re seal plate! Not only was this time consuming the amount of hassle it was i may aswell got a repair kit for the old valve at a quarter of the price.
Dont bother trying to save a small amount just go straight for genuine part. Read full review...

all is good EXCEPT … for the Bypass O rings, YOU WILL need to obtain the correct gauge (thickness) the 2 x o rings for the bypass pipe are not able to complete your job (trust me)

Cheaper than a full brass replacement
It is exactly as described. The only problem was the enclosed spring was far more stiff than the original and as such hot taps needed to be on full flow for the hot water to activate. I'd recommend re-fitting the original spring.Read full review...
