K&N wins again
I have had K&N filters on many cars over the years, some just drop in filters & others full induction kits. I have always found them very well made and the service kits easy to use. In this case I picked up a 2nd hand E-9289 and gave I a deep clean in a mix of washing powder & fairy liquid to get it deep cleaned, then re-oiled it with genuine K&N oil. Gave 3BHP over standard filter on remapped Focus TDCi and Revs are much smoother/picks up lower down. Read full review...

Noticeable difference straightaway
The write ups are correct when they say their is a notable difference using K&N air filters. Better low end pick up, and a nice subtle roar when accelerating hard through the rev range. Like that is not disposable and will last a while.Read full review...
