Functional but not great

Put this on my parent’s gate and shocked at how bad the spring system is designed. The pins that hold the tension are rubbish and fall out easily. The rod to tension the spring is too small for the hole and ends up slipping out.

Sufficient but not not great

The pegs that hold the spring in tension are a loose fit so I had to substitute them with a stainless bolt cut short. Does the job but why is there do much c**p out there?

Nothing heavy duty about it

Unable to keep my gate closed. Very hard to tighten the spring with the sill little lever provided. Disappointing.
