This is the only hay I've bought in a year and a half now! Fantastic value for money, and great to know I can order it and it come the next day for when I suddenly realise I'm running out!
It can be difficult to get out the pack to begin with due to it being so compressed, but this is solvable by splitting one of the sides of the bag. And a con I'm happy to live with for great quality hay for such a decent price.Read full review...

Very difficult to access the hay and pull it apart.
The ordering and delivery were trouble free. The hay is generally of good quality if a little dusty where it rubs against the packaging. Trouble is it is therefor incredibly messy to get out of the packaging and the dust goes everywhere. I usually store hay in my double garage but I opened this bag outside because it was so difficult to open. When I finally got through the packaging the dust from the edges as I lowered the top to access the hay caused such a mess I moved it to the back garden where I have the double hutches and run. I hoped the hay had been pressured into layers so although I expected it to be tightly packed I needed it to come out easily as it does in a 'Box of Hay'. In reality this is a brick of hay and you have to hack at it to loosen the hay. I would love to know from other users any tricks they may have for loosening the hay from the brick. The mess is incredible and I am storing it outside in a black bin bag because anything stored in the garage would be covered in hay wisps and dust. It takes me 10 times longer to clean out my rabbits because of the difficulty separating the hay from the brick. If I could find an easier way to distribute the hay into my rabbit cages then this would be good value for money compared to 'Box of Hay' which is much the same quality but more expensive. Fresh, but has tiny bugs in.
I brought this hay a few days ago & started to notice small mite looking bugs in my Guinea pigs cage… I put some of the hay in a separate box and there was bugs in it too, so I knew for certain it was the hay.
