Mini Maglite led
My mini Maglite was a gift nearly 20 years ago before led flashlights appeared. At the time it was great but when leds took over it got left in a drawer being a dull yellow light. I took the plunge on this conversion led and glad I did. The Maglite is useful again and has the added advantage of only drawing around 100 mA at around an adequate 70ish lumens which means a good brightness for at least 24 hours continuous use.Read full review...

Mini mag lite lens
The standard lens on my AA mini maglite was getting tired and the beam was fuzzy. I saw these glass lenses advertised, and thought they looked good.

Very bright, appears good quality and reasonable price
In noticed that my Mini MAGLITE bulbs tend to blacken and reduce light output over time so decided to upgrade to LED, cost seemed appropriate considering the extended life and brightness. Easy to fit by replacing supplied parts, note that the lamp may not light on first fitting and may need rotating in the holder as it is polarity sensitive. I also noticed that the lens cover does not screw fully home as the bezel for the new LED lamp is slightly thicker so I suggest a tiny amout of silicone grease on the rubber sealing rings to ensure the torch remains water resistantRead full review...

The bulb works OK and the instructions are clear enough (make sure you put the bulb in the right way round or it will not work) but the mirror is a little loose within the torch housing and causes a little rattle. Read full review...

A much needed part of the upgrade.
This needs doing after you have upgraded the bulb to led giving it that final touch combining both to give it clear light. Just add two Duracell batteries and away you go.
